Parry's are still useless, they should give you more invincibility frames as they are literally useless against multihits which still there are problems parrying. There is no way to reflect projectiles with shield in ultimate either and the entire meta game is centralized around interacting as little as possible. I would trade smash 4 shield grab meta over this everything is safe, spam aerials in your opponents direction until you get your true 30-40% string bullshit game.

Zoners are op in this game because they give them better up close tools than half of ryu's moveset. Disjointed tilts with Mario frame data start up and lots of range. Its entirely unbalanced, who would play a brawler character when zoners have better hands?? Looking at you pacman forward air, neutral air, dash attack.

i disagree about modern; as a melee snob for literally like 20 years, i had no trouble learning classic controls. you just have to get in the lab and do it. it's much more rewarding damage-wise, and you have more freedom over your character with classic. one observation i've made regarding modern players is that they tend to do genuinely less thinking during a game, and rely on namely one-button supers to bail them out of bad situations. they panic shoryu, they panic DI; beating modern players ironically has nothing to do with them using modern, but for some reason modern controls seem to attract a certain kind of low-thought player into using them. idk. maybe i'm just an asshole - this is just my opinion. bonus salt: i use an xbox controller, lol. learn classic. take up the tradition of doing quarter cirlces and Zs and stuff: be a man, lol. it's more rewarding and you can push your character harder for it.

If stun jacket was still in the game Roy Vs. Joker would probably be considered a really bad matchup seeing as Roy is a top tier as well so being able to use that against Joker who is a top tier would really nerf him as a character

Pichu f-smash is nearly the same in Melee, but SDI is way stronger in that game so you can kinda just avoid the final hitbox with a bit of wiggling.

I would love to see Parts 2 and 3 of ranking each Mii Brawler set. You're the reason me and many other Brawlers got into the character, and I would love to see more content on him from you. Also, because you impart so much personality onto Mii Brawler and your gameplay, it makes your content really enjoyable about him and it's the reason you're my favorite Smash youtuber, even as you drift away from Smash.

i know this video is pretty old but if anyone has the controller issues like he did, its in most steam games. Steam will double input your controller, to fix just disable steam input! Ive fought enough wars with fixing my controller on steam just to realize this fixes most, if not all, of my controller issues.
